My Story
A father, author, and inventor, I grew up on the south side of Chicago with a deep desire to create a lasting, positive impact on my family, friends, and community. Life threw its challenges my way, including time spent in jail, but I managed to turn things around. I built a successful, decade-long career as a technology project manager for Fortune 500 companies. Yet, despite my professional achievements, I struggled to find true fulfillment.
The birth of my son became a pivotal moment, inspiring me to lead him by example and truly understand what it means to pursue your dreams! At the time (COVID), i spent alot of time searching for children's products to educate my children and keep them off the screen (TV & IPads). This search eventually led to a calling and something clicked, i started selling STEAM products on Amazon and began to channel my energy into product design and writing children's books. This newfound passion gave me purpose and clarity, even as I navigated a failed marriage and faced workplace discrimination.
These experiences fueled my drive to rebuild and led me to establish my own business—a platform that allows me to combine my creative pursuits with a mission to make a meaningful impact on the world.

The inspiration behind this business began in one of the most life-changing moments of my life—the labor room during my son’s birth. As I held him for the first time, I wanted to share something meaningful, something he could carry with him forever. I wanted to tell him to chase his dreams, to stay true to his path, and to never let anything or anyone derail him. But in that moment, I felt a pang of hypocrisy. How could I give him advice I wasn’t living by myself? I realized I had never truly pursued my own dreams, and if I hadn’t walked that path, how could I guide him on his?
That was the moment AIM was born. I promised my son I’d not only support and guide him but also lead by example, showing him what it truly means to chase your dreams. I wanted to be his role model and his biggest supporter, walking alongside him every step of the way. That night, as the doctors took him for tests, I made my first move—I launched an Amazon store and stocked it with a few products. By the time we left the hospital, every product had sold out, and I had my first deposit in my account. I was in awe.
What followed was a journey with its fair share of highs and lows, but along the way, I discovered a deep passion for product design. That passion led me to create and patent a product that I hope will one day leave a lasting mark on the world. Every single day, I pour my heart into growing this brand—not just to keep the promise I made to my son but to fulfill my dream of making an impact and inspiring others to do the same.

The inspiration for this series came during storytime with my daughter—I saw this time as a deeply intimate and meaningful opportunity to share stories from my life while helping her navigate various challenges she encountered. During the time i would try to find books that would teach her important values, principles, and concepts, but many of the books we had didn't have meaningful lessons or were inappropiate in my opinion. As we read books together, I realized there was a need for stories that were not only entertaining but also offered valuable insights into common challenges people face or are likely to encounter. Many times i found myself telling her stories about my life but she wanted to here about charactes and not Dada :-) Instead of centering the stories on myself, I introduced fun, relatable characters—and she loved them, always asking for more. The titles I created were inspired by my upbringing and the catchy sayings I picked up while growing up in the "hood" on South Side of Chicago. Through this blend of engaging storytelling and life lessons, I found a way to connect with her on a deeper level and bring a unique perspective to every story we shared. She would ask me to retell her certain stories, and often i would forget because i was making them up on the fly, as a result i started writing them down and decided to share our collection with the world!
